About the solution
3DplusA is an innovative web service (prototype) for automatically creating detailed, photorealistic 3D models from video. Users can record a building, room or other site with a standard smartphone or drone, then upload the footage to the web application, which generates a 3D model and displays it in the viewer.
3DplusA brings together model creation, visualisation, editing, sharing and annotation in the cloud, without requiring expensive hardware or a collection of separate applications. The service uses radiance fields supported by machine learning to enable faster, more detailed model generation and new ways of working.
The project responds to the need for tools that reduce site visits, bring scattered information together and allow teams to review and manage sites from the office. By improving workflows, it supports sustainable practices, lower costs and greater added value.
A standard smartphone or commercial drone is sufficient for this model-generation workflow; LiDAR is not required. The offer also includes 360° capture by the customer or our team, and LiDAR scanning with a web viewer. Primary target users include engineering and design firms, construction and architecture teams, and public infrastructure operators — fields where we have relevant expertise and have confirmed the usefulness of the solution.
